In my years of disciple-making, I know of no other truth outside the gospel itself that has transformed more lives than Jesus’ lesson to his disciples on “Saving the Saved.” He wants people to know that having our sins forgiven through Christ’s death on the cross and receiving the free gift of eternal life is the most important truth we will ever believe, but that is only the starting block of an exciting race; it is not the goal line. About David R. Anderson

David R. Anderson has pastored in the Houston area for 30 years, helping to plant eight churches. Anderson served as the senior pastor at Faith Bible Church in The Woodlands, Texas, for 18 years. During that time he also served as an adjunct professor at Dallas Theological Seminary, teaching in three different departments: Greek New Testament, Bible Exposition, and Theology. He has been an adjunct professor for Jordan Evangelical Theological Seminary and taught graduate courses in several other foreign countries. Anderson was the founder and president of the Greater Houston Bible Church Association—a cooperative effort of churches in the association to reach greater Houston with the gospel. Anderson is also one of the founders of the Free Grace Alliance, and founder and president of Grace School of Theology—a Houston-based seminary with teaching locations throughout the state of Texas and online. In addition to his presidential responsibilities, Anderson teaches at Grace in the areas of theology and biblical languages. He is also the author of Free Grace Soteriology.
