Sean McGever explores the concept of Moralistic Therapeutic Deism and how it is applicable and useful for working with youth today but also its influences on our ministry and our work with adults, with parents, and the church at large. What is Moralistic Therapeutic Deism? Where did this term come from? What is the research behind it? How should we respond to it? McGever has years of experience of working with young people and teaching theology and is excited to examine these dynamics with productive strategies for ministry and proclamation of the gospel.
