Digital Logos Edition
While Zechariah will play an important part of our study in this book, this is not a study on the Book of Zechariah, rather it is a study about this book's title: The King and His Glory: From His Second Coming to Earth Into the Eternal State. The Eternal State includes the New Heavens and a New Earth, and these are (even though we presently see in a mirror only dimly) what we generally consider by the word "heaven." By the time of Revelation 21-22, all evil will have been properly defeated, all evil will have been judged by Jesus the Messiah, and those at the great white throne judgment will have been cast into the lake of fire/hell (Rev. 20:11-15). After the final judgment, there will be no more Satan to baffle. Sin and sinners will have been eradicated, and the redeemed will be rewarded by Jesus Christ. These attributes belong to the Godhead eternally: holiness, love, glory, and the fulness of the joy of the Trinity.
