Overview

Republished in 1907, the contents of this volume represent a careful sifting through many sources to choose some of the greatest sermons ever written. Some of them even stretch back to the time of St. Augustine. It contains fifty-two discourses, one for each Sunday of the year, representing great preachers who lived all over the world. Included is a portrait and biographical sketch of each preacher and a brief critical estimate of the preacher's style and power. This composition of information will aid the reader in acquainting themselves with these masters of assemblies. Wherever practical, each Sermon was reprinted verbatim from the standard edition of each author's works, in order to preserve the individuality of punctuation, capitals, etc. The hope is that these powerful messages will bless the people as much today as it's done for those in centuries past.

The file for this resource is currently an EPUB. When it ships, it will be a Logos edition.
