About the Authors Dave Earley is the Chairman of the Department of Pastoral Ministries and Church Expansion at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He also serves as Director of the Center for Ministry Training at Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and the Director of the Center for Church Planting at Liberty University. Prior to teaching at Liberty, Dave was the founding senior pastor of the New Life Church of Gahanna-Columbus, Ohio. New Life started in his basement with 12 people and grew to nearly 2,000 a week in attendance with over 100 small groups. Dave’s passion for a vibrant personal adventure with God has resulted in several books, including Prayer: The Timeless Secret of High Impact Leadership, The 21 Most Effective Prayers in the Bible and Living In His Presence: The Immanuel Factor. Rod Dempsey is the Chairman of Discipleship Ministries at Liberty Theology Seminary as well as the Discipleship Pastor at Thomas Road Baptist Church. Rod has served as a church planter, Christian Education pastor, Membership pastor, Small Group pastor and elder prior to Liberty Seminary. He is the author of the companion books for Building Dynamic Faith and is a regular contributing author to www.smallgroups.com. He teaches and speaks at discipleship and small group conferences throughout the nation.
