Overview

Cascadia Syntax Graphs of the Septuagint Deuterocanon and Apocrypha presents a database and visualization of the syntax of the Greek Deuterocanonical and Old Testament Apocrypha books of the Septuagint. This resource consists of the graphs themselves—the visualization that drives the user's ability to query the syntactic structure of the corpus. The text used for the analysis is Swete’s edition of the Septuagint. With this resource, along with its coinciding database resource, users can search across the Greek Deuterocanonical and Old Testament Apocrypha for particular syntactic structures, without worrying about missed search results that arise from using standard proximity morphological searches.
