Global Bible software leader one of only 10 Washington State private businesses to make list five years
SEATTLE—Logos Bible Software was awarded Hall-of-Fame status, ranking as one of the 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies for the fifth time—a feat accomplished by only nine other companies among hundreds of competitors. Due to burgeoning sales of Logos 4 and other Bible study resources for Macs and PCs—as well as apps for iPhones/iPads and Android devices—Logos sustained rapid growth over the last several years to be included on the Puget Sound Business Journal's list list once again.
“We are excited to see increased demand as our product continues to improve, and it's an honor to make the fastest-growing companies list multiple times,” said Logos President/CEO Bob Pritchett.
“The companies that make this list are, by definition, among the most dynamic in our region,” said Puget Sound Business Journal Publisher Emory Thomas, Jr. “They have beaten the odds imposed by the Great Recession, making membership on this elite list all the more impressive. These companies are showing all of us what qualities it takes to grow in challenging times.”
Puget Sound Business Journal Asst. Managing Editor Becky Monk agrees that sustaining rapid growth year after year is extremely difficult.
“First, to make the Puget Sound Business Journal's list of 100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies, a company must have achieved rapid growth for three years,” Monk said. “To repeat that performance is not easy.”
Logos has seen double-digit growth over the past few years and has recently launched two more successful products: Vyrso: Christian Ebooks and Proclaim Church Presentation Software. Its workforce has grown to more than 250 employees with representatives across the nation and world. Last year alone, Logos presented at more than 600 conferences. It has recently released the new Logos Bible app for iOS, along with a Logos 4.5 update, and it will unleash two highly anticipated new products later this year.
