Most Christians have never heard or read the term "Spiritual Adultery," and yet the Bible is full of illustrations concerning this particular sin. Paul outlines it in the first four verses of the seventh chapter of Romans. The far greater majority of the modern Church are actually living in "Spiritual Adultery," which greatly hinders their walk with the Lord. So, you, as a believer, desperately need to know what this is and how it can be avoided. To not understand the Message of the Cross, is to not understand "Spiritual Adultery." Such a lack of understanding can cause terrible problems.
“The only way to overcome sin is for the Believer to place his Faith exclusively in Christ and what Christ has done for us at the Cross. We must fight to hold our Faith in that position, and we continue to speak of the Cross. Then, to be sure, the Holy Spirit, Who is God and Who can do anything, will begin to greatly work on our behalf, thereby giving us the victory which He Alone can give.” (Page 35)
“If our faith is not exclusively in Christ and the Cross, then, pure and simple, we are not serving the Christ of the Bible, but rather ‘another Jesus.’” (Page 22)
“‘Christ is the Source of all things we receive from God, while the Cross is the Means by which these things are given to us.’” (Page 52)
“All of this means that we are being unfaithful to Christ.” (Page 21)
“There is actually nothing more important to the Child of God than how to live for God,” (Page 29)
