The Review of Biblical Literature, founded by the Society of Biblical Literature, presents reviews of books in biblical studies and related fields, and provides a forum for international scholarly exchange and cutting edge biblical scholarship. Logos is pleased to offer in The Review of Biblical Literature nearly four thousand reviews of the most important books, reference works, commentaries, dictionaries, Bible translations, and other resources written by top scholars from the past decade of biblical scholarship. These reviews allow readers to stay current with the freshest trends in the field of biblical scholarship.

The powerful search tools in Logos give you instant access to all of the content in The Review of Biblical Literature. You can search by book title, author, topic, and Scripture passage—and find it all instantly. What’s more, Scripture texts are linked to the Greek and Hebrew texts—and the wealth of language resources in your digital library—and links within each volume of the journal allow you to quickly move from the table of contents to the index to the articles you need and back again. Save yourself from turning pages, cross-referencing citations, and unnecessarily complex research projects. The Logos edition of The Review of Biblical Literature also allows you to cut and paste the content you need for citations—and automatically create footnotes in your document using your preferred style guide.

With The Review of Biblical Literature, combined with the power of Logos, you have the most important tools you need for your research projects, sermon preparation, and biblical study.

Some great stuff here, but no pagination! How is one to cite this resource?

First and most important: 1999 was the first year of this product. Lastly, this 1999 volume does not contain the actual material in the JBL edition. 1998 and 1999 contain reviews from their blog site which at the end of the year may not appear in that year's actual JBL volume which these are not. (This matter is under review according to Customer Service.) This plays havoc when doing research since you do not know if its in the Logos edition although periodical indices would suggest they are. Finally, the Logos editions contain no pagination-just an alphabetical listing. Were it the actual JBL volumes this would be much more useful, much more valuable.
