『聖書 新改訳』は、1970 年に第一版が出版され、現在に至るまでに三回の改訂を経た日本語翻訳聖書です。『聖書 新改訳2017』は、初の大改訂を経て2017 年に刊行されました。
「聖書 新改訳」の翻訳・改訂は、下記の6つの理念に基づいて行われています。
１．聖書信仰 聖書を誤りなき神のことばと告白する、聖書信仰の立場に立つ。
２．委員会訳 特定の神学的立場を反映する訳出を避け、言語的な妥当性を尊重する委員会訳である。
３．原典に忠実 ヘブル語及びギリシア語本文への安易な修正を避け、原典に忠実な翻訳をする。
４．文学類型 行き過ぎた意訳や敷衍（ふえん）訳ではなく、それぞれの文学類型（歴史、法律、預言、詩歌、ことわざ、書簡等）に相応しいものとする。
５．時代に適応 その時代の日本語に相応しい訳出を目指す。
６．今後も改訂 聖書研究の進展や日本語の変化に伴う必要な改訂を行う。

It's a great version! It's wonderful prepare a sermon in Portuguese and Japanese easily! But I thought it would come with furigana. This is very necessary, since every physical Bible has furigana. I look forward to this update.

I believe that the foreigners who are in the hope of this Bible are pastors, missionaries, or Christians involved in the Japanese church. Since Japan is less than 1% Christian, where are you from? I'm a missionary and I'm in Nagoya. よろしくお願いします！Miyer Astocondor (ミジエル アストコンドル)

Ask and ye shall receive. I purchased the 新改訳 that was recently released, and while grateful, I slightly lamented the fact that the 2017 version was not available. This is the version that is used in our church here in Japan and in many many others that I know of as well. Grateful to be able to see this in production!Brandon

Best translation of scripture into the Japanese language for so many reasons! It doesn’t have the unnecessary apocrypha additions. It’s translated from the original languages. And above the Kanji, which is challenging to memorize, it has the hiragana above so you don’t have to research what the word is. I have a physical copy, which was $100 new. There is also a free app of this Bible on IOS but I’ve been on a mission to invest into logos for my new study life habits. I have been reading and translating John to study Japanese and one day move there with my family. This Bible version is a must have to remain free from false teachings and practical errors that are so common in the Japanese culture of Christianity. Blessings everyone!
