About the Authors

Robert Sheldon earned a PhD in experimental space physics from the University of Maryland, and an MA in religion from Westminster Theological Seminary. His career in NASA satellite instruments and teaching led to appointments as mittelarbeiter at Universität Bern, research associate at Boston University, associate professor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and visiting professor at Wheaton College. He is the author of Laser Satellite Communication (2000) and over sixty refereed articles and chapters.
