The Dead Sea Scrolls of Job from Cave 4 and Cave 11

Leander Chalice 2013

Runs on Windows, Mac and mobile.

This volume is Professor Leander Chalice’s translation of the Targum of Job, from fragments found in Qumran Cave 4 and Cave 11. A targum, as Alex Samely of University of Manchester defines it, is an “Aramaic narrative paraphrase of the biblical text in exegetical dependence on its wording.” Chalice’s book gives you a unique opportunity to read translations of these early targums, enriching your study of Job, in all its beauty and drama.

In the Logos edition, this valuable volume is enhanced by amazing functionality. Scripture citations link directly to English translations, and important terms link to dictionaries, encyclopedias, and a wealth of other resources in your digital library.
