Romance is in play as the younger woman, Julie, meets a handsome young sailor, David. He is immediately attracted to Julie’s beauty, but she wants nothing to do with the young sailor--especially his Christianity. As much as David is attracted to Julie and her music, he sees her internal war and wonders if their professional and spiritual differences would even allow romance to bloom.
