Faith Facts: Answers to Catholic Questions, vol. 1, is a natural outgrowth of Emmaus Road Publishing’s popular Catholic Responses department, through which they have served thousands of people who have brought questions concerning the Catholic faith. Faith Facts, vol. 1, will prepare you to answer 23 of the most frequently asked questions about the Catholic Church’s teachings, including papal authority, Mary’s role in our salvation, the truth about birth control, and more.

Top Highlights

“One of the effects of this original sin is our weakened freedom (cf” (Page 199)

“‘[D]eath through Eve, life through Mary’ (as quoted in LG 56).” (Page 199)

“God’s plan that He had from the beginning for all human beings.” (Page 199)

“According to Jesus, death cannot separate the faithful—such as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—from God. And, if they are alive to God, they must be alive to us through Him as members of His one body. Otherwise, contrary to what Saint Paul says, Christ’s victory over death was incomplete, and His body is not truly one.” (Page 36)

“The phrase ‘full of grace’ is a translation of the Greek word kecharitōménē. This word conveys a sense of completion and perfection that was already present at the time of the Annunciation. Mary’s holiness was not only as complete as possible, but it extended over the whole of her life, from conception onward.” (Page 196)

Faith Facts is biblically grounded and completely faithful to the Magisterium of the Church. The authors address the most controversial issues in the Church today in a remarkably fraternal and constructive manner. I am certain that this book will help lead many people into the heart of the Church.
