About John D. Trentham

John David Trentham serves as the Associate Professor of Leadership and Discipleship, and Dean of Students at Southern Seminary. Since arriving on the faculty in 2012, Dr. Trentham has taught more than thirty distinct courses at the undergraduate, graduate, professional, and research doctoral levels. Dr. Trentham has served the church in various ways including teaching, worship, missions, and administrative roles. He is a member at Sojourn Midtown in Louisville, Kentucky, where he serves on the worship team. He is married to Brittany, and they have three children.
