Overview

Samuel Driver worked several posts throughout his career, most notably as Regius Professor of Hebrew and Canon of Christ Church in Oxford. Possibly best known as one of the co-editors of what has become called Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew and English Lexicon (BDB), Driver published many works, much of which focused on the Old Testament and biblical Hebrew.
