Joan B. Kelly, co-principal director of the Children of Divorce Project from its inception until 1980, is known internationally for her research, articles, and presentations in the divorce, custody, and mediation areas. She is a past president of the Academy of Family Mediators and is executive director of the Northern California Mediation Center in Corte Madera, California.
