In this new course, prolific author and speaker Scot McKnight unpacks the new perspective on Paul in a fresh and accessible way, explaining how it is rooted in a more accurate view of Judaism.
This course explains that Judaism is not a works religion. Rather, Jewish understanding of the law is covenant and grace-based faithfulness. There is a larger narrative of the plan of God for this world and a continuity between the Old Testament understanding of law and grace with the work of Christ.
In the new perspective, we see that our good works are rooted in the grace of God, who in the covenant with Jesus Christ, has redeemed us and given us the Spirit so that we might become the people of God as a witness to God’s redemptive power in our world today.
