It matches the first I guess 45 pages rather well. It stops right before the section that starts with ‘ That ye may be able to stand against the Wiles of the Devil’. I wish they had clearly said what sections it covered in the print version. It is not so much abridged as just the first couple of sections - I was listening to it as I read my Logos version and they lined up rather well most times. The title suggests it is only part, where it says “Spiritual Arms for the Battle”, but nothing in the description does. I guess I will have to look for another audio version now, which is too bad.Elijah Shepherd

Narration seems fine, but it should be clearer that this is a severely abridged version - it mentions 'edited for the modern reader' but, looking at how thick the original is and how this version is about 4 hours long, that must mean that most of the book has been cut out.Lynda Williams

As Christians we are born to fight and conquer. This book will help you with that. The writers of the past seem to be in a different world when it comes to holiness. They hated to compromise, as we almost seem to love it under the guise of love and tolerance. To put the teaching of this book into practice is hard work and can only be done through the power of the Holy Spirit. A small note, I think that this audiobook is a part of the full work 'The Christian in Complete Armour', which is around 1500 pages. How good would it be if we got the whole audiobook?
