Watchman Nee was a Chinese Christian author and church leader during the early 20th century. He spent the last 20 years of his life in prison and was severely persecuted by the Communists in China. Together with Wangzai, Zhou-An Lee, Shang-Jie Song, and others, Nee founded The Church Assembly Hall, later which would be also known as the “Local churches”.

I read this in my 20's and now again. One of the best books I have ever read explaining truths in a comprehensive yet simple manner. Even though it's content is something I have understood for decades this reading opens up the truth again of these vital passages. You won't be disappointed in this book, you will be blessed and strengthened
