The journey in this book will touch both heart and soul as it weaves through the tapestry of one man’s life poetically. The seasons, events, and subjects are scattered about like leaves on a windy day. Each is unique to itself, and yet all are part of life’s tree. You will be able to open this anywhere between covers and find something to enjoy.
“John’s book of poetry is a vivid gathering of wisdom from his
awareness and passion for life. Life is full of ups and downs, and
this collection puts into words what many feel so deeply. There is
laughter, there is sorrow, and there is beauty. ‘Colors (the loss
of someone)’ and ‘The Understanding’ were the poems that found me
coming back to read again and again.”
—Cheryl Randall, service industry, mother, and grandma
“John always digs deep into his heart and soul and shares his
thoughts and feelings freely and beautifully. In The Nature of
Man, he touches on my thoughts and feelings and brings them out
and gives them meaning.”
—Carla Seeger, former accounting executive assistant
“Breska’s words, lines, phrases, and poems are picturesque and
visual. There is a relationship for every reader to feel and see
within themselves through his writings. Each page is as individual
as his readers and each image describes an opportunity for
expression and reflection.”
—Laura Critcher, marketing analyst
