Bristol Baptist College is the oldest continuing Baptist College in the world, and has a rich story of faith, service, challenge, and people. As the College moves into its fourth century, this book explores the story of the first three centuries.
“This is an important and inspiring history told with proper
modesty and conviction. It is an honest account of the crucial
story of a vital British Baptist institution which has an
authenticity and urgency about it for contemporary and future
developments. The College still has much to teach us all.”
—Brian Haymes, former Principal, Bristol Baptist College
“This story matters. It’s about God’s continuing faithfulness to
his people and his purposes. The world’s oldest Baptist college has
constantly changed yet has stayed the same, because it serves the
Ancient of Days, who delights to do new things. . . . The
story of one small college epitomizes the journey of God’s people,
and so is relevant to us all. The authors have done a great service
in bringing the story to life.”
—Stephen Finamore, Principal, Bristol Baptist College
