In this video series Elyse Fitzpatrick and Eric Schumacher introduce the concepts from each chapter of their book Jesus and Gender and share personal stories that supplement their teaching. With the Bible as their foundation, they explore basic identity questions, like What does it mean to be created in God’s image? What does it mean to be a man or a woman? What should our relationships look like?

Eric Schumacher is associate pastor of Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Ames, Iowa, and coauthor, with Elyse Fitzpatrick, of Worthy: Celebrating the Value of Women. He earned his MDiv from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been married for over a decade.
