Overview

The Kregel Classic Sermons Series is an attempt to assemble and publish meaningful sermons from master preachers about significant themes. These are sermons, not essays or chapters taken from books about themes. Not all of these sermons could be called great, but all of them are meaningful. They apply the truths of the Bible to the needs of the human heart, which is something that all effective preaching must do. The reading of these sermons can enrich your spiritual life. The studying of them can enrich your skills as an interpreter and expounder of God’s truth. Filled with illustrative materials for pastors. Also an excellent resource for personal devotions. Loves lamentation / Charles Haddon Spurgeon. Love’s supreme disclosure / William M. Clow. Immeasurable love / Charles Haddon Spurgeon. The perfect love of God to us / Robert Murray McCheyne. The keynote of the Bible / Ruben Archer Torrey. Amazing love! / George Campbell Morgan. Unknowable love known to love / Alexander Maclaren. The great enfranchisement / John Henry Jowett. The vision and compassion of Jesus / John Daniel Jones. The love of God / Adoniram Judson Gordon. Love: the greatest thing in the world / Henry Drummond.
