  1. Brett L Simpson
Total of 70 sections of recordings. 1-35 is a male voice using traditional pronunciations. So, for example mother would be aim אם rather than em and aHoth אחות for sister rather than aHot. Some recordings of the Old Testament may have these pronunciations so if you plan to learn with an intention of listening to them then this is the route to go. 46-70 is a female voice using modern pronunciations. So, for example mother would be em אם rather than aim and aHot אחות for sister rather than aHoth. If you just plan to read and want to also be able to understand the modern equivalents, then this is the way to go. Also modernized versions may use the newer pronunciations. As a side note it might be easier to learn using the traditional approach since some words in modern pronunciation sound identical and you can only tell them apart by context.
