Genesis is the book of beginnings. Here we read of the creation of the world, the creation of human beings, their temptation and fall, the inhabiting of the earth, the destruction of a rebellious world, the lives of the patriarchs and the great promises of God. Jim Dixon shows us that biblical history is our history, and that Christians living in the twenty-first century need to know the Bible's beginnings. The sheer size of Genesis makes the book intimidating for many. Expository Thoughts on Genesis will remove the hesitation that many face. The message of Genesis is here presented in devotional segments - bite-size pieces - that inform the heart and instruct the mind. In these pages, Dixon beautifully mines the depths of Genesis and provides answers to a most essential question: How then shall we live?
