Overview

This letter to Titus was written from prison in Rome. It was written around A.D. 63. It is believed that the letter to Titus was written just after First Timothy. Paul wrote First and Second Timothy because of the challenges Timothy was facing in his leadership of the church in Ephesus. He wrote this letter to Titus because of the challenges Titus was facing in giving leadership to the church in Crete. There were false teachers in Crete who were leading Christians astray because of a lack of sound doctrine being preached and taught in there. The older men and women were being led astray and the younger men and women were being influenced by the older ones. In these sermons Dr. Brooks provides us with insight in to into how to deal with these issue.
