This is one of the better Pentecostal study Bibles. However, I'm surprised at the lengths they go to make wine sound like grape juice. Any real study of the Greek word oinos will show that it means fermented juice i.e., wine. This is a clear case of letting tradition interpret scripture rather than letting it speak on its own terms. I'm not pointing this out because I'm a drunkard or anything it just surprised me after seeing so much good content in this study Bible. When I see things like this it throws up red flags. I have to wonder what else are they compromising on? Anyway, just food for thought. I do think there are a lot of helpful notes and articles in here. Like any tool we use, we need to practice discernment. If you're using only this Bible for your study or any one study Bible, you need to add a different one to the mix. Use the word study tools in Logos. Don't live in an echo chamber. Truth is truth. God bless.

So thankful for this study Bible. From Bible college to the pulpit, one of my favorite resources! I promote the Fire Bibles to my congregation and they love them. It’s made the Word applicable and come alive to them. Best, biblically sound Pentecostal Bible!

I have owned Fire Bibles (Spanish and English) for 27 yrs., this is a great resource for those who are serious about studying the Bible. However, nowadays I do most of my reading on digital books, so I am looking forward to this resource being added to Logos. I pre-ordered as soon as I saw it, I just have two quick questions. WHEN will this product be FINALIZED and ready? What Bible version will it be in and will we eventually see other versions? Thank you.

Excited for this resource. However classical Pentecostalism is not perfect either. When the Charismatic renewal came along, they toned down the extreme emotionalism and bad theology of some Pentecostals that was already there. Pretty sure the hyper-faith leaders came straight out of Pentecostalism and were already teaching by then too. There have been many good developments as well as bad. As with any position, sift, compare, and think for yourself.

As someone who owns a physical ESV version of the Fire Bible. It's an absolute great study bible! It has so much stuff in it for you to be able to dive deep into the Bible. It's literally a Sunday School in the palm of your hand! If you want to learn a Pentecostal perspective on the Holy Spirit. Then this Bible is the one for you!
