When Tim Keller planted Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City in 1989, it began with a prayer group of 15 in a city that reportedly had less than one percent of people attending a gospel-believing church. By 2017, the year Keller stepped down as senior pastor, Redeemer had become a thriving church of over 5,000 regular attendees in three worship locations across the city. Instead of retiring, Keller is passing on both his passion and experience in urban ministry to a new generation of ministry leaders.

God had finally brought upon them the ultimate covenant curse, the loss of the land.
