Overview

The Sentence Types Dataset annotation is based on the formal features of a sentence, usually encapsulated in the mood of the main verb as well as prototypical word order patterns. For example, a command typically utilizes the imperative mood and has a word order where the verb occurs first; whereas a question typically utilizes the indicative mood and has a word order where the questioned constituent occurs first.
