Overview

When you think of the Newsboys, do you think rock and roll, gold records, concerts, and fame? Shine: Make Them Wonder What You’ve Got reveals the Newsboys in a way you have never seen them before--not just as performers but as Christians. Follow them as they travel through seasons of personal and spiritual growth, undergoing struggles that are common to all believers, experiencing faith-stretching circumstances, and seeking to live for Christ in an authentic way. Their spiritual journeys reflect a deep and growing faith that permeates their music while also transcending it. This new path challenges the limitations we’ve put on Christianity in our postmodern culture and seeks the essence of the Gospel. Shine will challenge and stretch your own spiritual expectations as you discover the dynamics of a living faith.

From humble beginnings in church basements and pubs in Australia to sold-out arenas around the world, including Madison Square Garden and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Newsboys have released seventeen studio albums, six of which have been certified gold. With millions of records sold, the Christian rock band has been won four Dove Awards and was nominated for four Grammy Awards. Performing an average 150 concerts a year, Newsboys are the innovators of the portable touring arena and founders of the annual Festival con Dios. The group launched their United tour in spring 2018.
Newsboys appeared in the films God’s Not Dead, God’s Not Dead 2 and God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness, released in theaters in late March 2018. The latter film stars John Corbett, Ted McGinley, and Tatum O’Neal. The film franchise takes its name from Newsboys’ 2011 hit “God’s Not Dead.”
