In 1981, Bishop Darrell L. Hines was struck by
lightning while working for Republic Airlines. His heart stopped
beating for forty-five minutes and doctors concluded he would be a
“living vegetable” or he would not survive, but God had another
plan. After overcoming amnesia, he made a commitment to God. Since
then, he has been telling a dying world about a living Christ while
winning scores of souls.
Bishop Hines pastors Christian Faith Fellowship Church of God in
Christ (CFFC), one of the largest African American churches in
Wisconsin, with his wife, Pamela. CFFC was founded with a
four-point plan called CORE—Community, Outreach, Resource, and
Education—and a purpose to proclaim the Word of God, uplift the
family, and provide ministry to the total man.
Darrell Hines Ministries is a global evangelistic ministry that has
been instrumental in affecting people of various ethnic, social,
and economic affiliations. His evangelistic journey encompasses
travel throughout the U.S., and around the world. Bishop Hines is
the Jurisdictional Bishop of the Illinois Midwest Ecclesiastical
Jurisdiction (COGIC). Bishop Hines is widely recognized for his
cutting-edge preaching, and message of salvation and hope.
