Overview
Wisdom literature present a biblical theology that is unique amongst the Old Testament books. Being entirely poetry and often focused more upon timeless truths than narrative history, the goals and priorities of the authors diverge in a number of ways than other texts. The texts are both culturally-bound, but also universal; situational, and yet far-reaching in their application.
