About Steve Nelson

Steve Nelson is an ordained SDA pastor and cofounder of The Hope of Survivors, a ministry addressing the issue of pastoral sexual abuse and misconduct. He is currently president of the organization, and speaks internationally on the issue. He is a board certified biblical counselor (BCBC) through the Board of Christian Professional and Pastoral Counselors, a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and a certified belief therapist (CBT) through the Therapon Institute. He is also a member of the Adventist Association of Family Life Professionals (AAFLP).
