This course is excellent in helping me to unleash the power of the Logos software. Time consuming but worth the effort. The time you spend learning how to use Logos you save in the long run of research. The instructor is professional. They selected a great book to use the course on. Now that I have completed it I’ll go back through it in a few months for fine tuning.

I'm giving a 4 star rating because this shows how to use the software when you're a newcomer! So I appreciate that!

I use the Logos 7 basic free version and I was both intrigued and frustrated with this training series. I was intrigued because I found out how to use some new tools I had been unaware of that potentially helps me to gain a lot more insight into the biblical texts. I was frustrated because i) many tools, like the atlas, being taught to us were not available in my version of logos or only partially - hence the course was not suited to my version of Logos; ii) certain tools, like typing Jonah 1:1-17 into the "go" box, consistently caused my desktop Logos application to crash on my Windows 10 machine - hence this desktop application is still somewhat buggy and unreliable, and iii) some tools like inline search would not work on the desktop version of Logos 7 but they would work on the apps.logos.com interface though not always like the description in the study series - hence interface inconsistency. So, in conclusion, at present I am less inclined to fork out the rather large sums of money being asked to upgrade to higher versions of this application. Furthermore, I suggest the editors create a study course like this that adapts to each version of Logos that users may have so that it would feel less like a marketing tool and create less frustration when one is asked to try a tool that doesn't exist in the version of Logos the user has.

The pace of the lectures were to fast to me. I had a lot of school material I had to deal with at the same time. I had not looked at Logos for two weeks.

I did not complete the challenge. I actually attempted to sign up but was hit with a message telling me that I was not authorized to download the materials on this device. Okay. What do I do with that? I'm sorry, but I get short of patience with technology glitches. I'm interested, but make something that works, please.

Thanks for the challenge. Unfortunately I was unable to download the material, so I didn't get to start, let alone complete the challenge. I emailed support but saw no reply. I do, however, enjoy Logos for iOS; I use it every day in my studies.
