Top Highlights

“One of the most precious gifts God has given us is His Word, the Bible. Wrapped in the glory and sacrifice of His Son and delivered by the power and ministry of His Spirit, it is a treasured gift—the gift that keeps on giving, because the Giver it reveals is inexhaustible in His love and grace.” (source)

“Israel had rushed God to give them a king before He planned to.” (source)

“Once a leader starts giving in to pressure, his judgment will be impaired. Saul began with simple impatience. He had a task to do and waiting for God’s schedule seemed to complicate his leadership.” (source)

“Philistines oppressed Israel severely for twenty years, God elevated Samuel to the position of judge over His people.” (source)
