Special Folder Locations

The Libronix DLS stores many of its data files in Windows' "special folders". The location of these folders varies for different versions of Microsoft Windows. Some of the folder paths contain the user name you use to log in to Windows; this will be indicated by username. On Windows 2000/XP, you can use special shortcuts surrounded by % signs to get to these folders. These shortcuts will work inside command prompts and the Windows Explorer address bar.

MyDocuments

Libronix stores all user-created documents (e.g., Collections, Workspaces, Prayer Lists, Custom Toolbars) in this folder.

• Windows 95/98/ME (with profiles): C:\Windows\Profiles\username\My Documents\Libronix DLS
• Windows NT: C:\Winnt\Profiles\username\My Documents\Libronix DLS
• Windows 2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\Libronix DLS

UserAppData

Libronix stores all settings and preferences (set through Options dialogs and report settings panels) here. Bookmarks are also stored here, in Library\Preferences\LDLS\Bookmarks.lbxprf.

• Windows 95/98/ME (with profiles): C:\Windows\Profiles\username\Application Data\Libronix DLS

Libronix stores the system and metadata caches here. This folder should not be copied between different machines.
