The design of this book is to state a principle clearly but briefly and then illustrate the principle with a series of examples from the New Testament. The goal of this manual is to assist the student of the Greek New Testament to develop his or her ability and skill at reading and understanding the Greek text, by providing a definitive, detailed, comprehensive manual, filled with New Testament examples which illustrate the main varieties of functions of any given Greek word, phrase, or clause.

Why is this Greek grammar described as an illustrated manual? Author Wes Perschbacher wanted the text to be short on detailed definitions and explanations and long on examples and illustrations.
