This study is intended to follow Judges and Kings of Israel, the Explorer’s Bible Study course which surveyed Judges through Second Chronicles. This present course focuses on the teachings of the Old Testament prophets as they relate to the last years of the Divided Kingdom, God’s eternal promises to the Jews, and the coming of His Messiah. With the exception of Isaiah and Jeremiah, who have entire Explorer’s courses devoted to them, all the other Old Testament prophets will be studied in chronological order. We will hear them sound God’s warnings and issue His instructions before and after the fall of Israel at the hands of Assyria and during the exile and return of Judah from her captivity in Babylon.
