Benefits of the Payment Plan
For many customers, the Payment Plan is a crucial factor in deciding whether to purchase the software. A Payment Plan assists in budgeting, as you can more readily fit a large purchase into your existing budget. It's also a great option for pastors whose churches provide them with a monthly pastoral book budget, as they can use that allowance to cover the cost of a larger library of electronic resources. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I purchase a product using the Payment Plan?
A: You must first add the item to your shopping cart using the traditional “Add to Cart” button. Once you have added the item to your cart, proceed through the checkout options, including adding your shipping method and entering your billing and mailing addresses. On the Confirm Your Order page, select the Payment Plan option, located on the right side, below your credit card information. This will activate the Payment Plan option, with shipping rates and taxes included.
Q: Can I change the number or amounts of payments?
A: Yes, you can select your number of payments from the options provided.
Q: Why am I charged a service fee? Is that interest?
A: The service fee is not interest, but is collected to cover the very real administrative costs associated with the Payment Plan. We don't expect to make any profit on it and offer it purely as a service to our customers.
Q: What happens to the pennies that can't be divided equally?
A: Any remaining pennies that cannot be divided equally are included with the initial payment. For example, an order totalling $300.04 would be split into one payment of $100.02 followed by two payments of $100.01.
Q: Is a Payment Plan consistent with good stewardship?
A: Payment Plans, like credit cards, can be used either constructively or carelessly. We have offered the Payment Plan for years to non-web customers, and the response has been positive. For many customers (e.g., students), the Payment Plan is a real blessing as it allows them to acquire the ministry tools they need early on in their ministry...in much the same way that a young mechanic makes an early investment in tools that will serve him for a lifetime of work. Some pastors also use the Payment Plan because their pastoral book budgets are allocated on a monthly basis.
Q: Are Payment Plans available for everyone?
A: At this time we offer Payment Plans to our customers whose billing address is in:
