Gesenius' Hebrew Grammar
As edited and enlarged by E. Kautzsch, Second English Edition revised in accordance with the twenty-eighth German edition (1910) by A. E. Cowley, Oxford at the Clarendon Press. 598 pp
The Libronix Digital Library edition includes the complete and unabridged text with “additions and corrections” incorporated into the main text.
The enduring value of Gesensius' Hebrew Grammar is evidenced by its inclusion in nearly every seminary’s list of essential Hebrew reference works. This classic Hebrew grammar is an important addition to the Libronix Digital Library as part of our ongoing commitment to preserve and distribute these important works which are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain in print.
Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Lexicon to the Old Testament Scriptures
This is another classic lexicon from the same author as the Hebrew Grammar above. The Libronix Digital Library edition is based on the original 1846 first edition of this work translated from Gesenius' German and corrected by Samuel Prideaux Tregelles. This version of the Libronix edition is not enhanced with Strong’s number tagging. This feature is planned for the next version of the lexicon; Strong’s numbers will allow linking directly from Strong’s-tagged English Bibles. We are constantly looking for ways to enhance the utility of Hebrew and Greek source material for the English Bible student.
