Lesson 5: Special Tools, Part 1
The purpose of this section is to expose you to a variety of tools that are not readily seen from the home page.
Menu: Library Management
The purpose of this tool is to help you manage the various digital books you have purchased.
Bibliography
This tool will allow you to create several different lists of the books in your library. It is a great way to quickly view and count how many titles you have in your digital library.

Location Manager/Loading Your Books
The location manager will help you copy books from your CD/DVD to your hard drive.
Menu: Research Tools
The following tools will help you extract, organize, and summarize information for immediate and later use.
Auto-Lookup
This tool will create a report that will provide the Biblical text for references that are cited in any book.
- Assignment: Watch the video (1:14, 1.6MB).
- Exercise: Open My Library, open the book Treasury of Scripture Knowledge, and go to the passage 1 Peter 1:16.
- Question: What are all the Biblical cross references given?

Keylink Summary
This is an excellent report that will generate a list of links to all the books in your library that are related to the word or reference you supply. This report allows you to have less books opened while still showing you which books have relevant information.
- Assignment: Watch the video (4:25, 4.6MB).
- Exercise: Go to the main menu, click “Tools,” then click “Research Tools,” then click “Keylink Summary,” choose “Choose Data Type” from the first drop down menu choice, select “Greek Strong’s Number” from the drop down menu, Click the “OK” button, type the number “1234” in the white box, click the green arrow button.
- Question: What is the Greek word that is associated with the Greek Strong’s Number 1234?

Note File Summary
This tool provides you with the ability to view and print your notes, one file at a time.
- Exercise: Go to the main menu, choose Tools | Research Tools | Note File Summary.

Menu: Bible Study
Verb River
This report provides a “forest through the trees” view to the morphology of any range of Scripture. It’s a great way to see the “big picture” of verb patterns before diving into the details of individual words.
- Assignment: Read the article How to Use Verb Verb River.
- Exercise: Enter in the white verse box “Ephesians.” Next, select “Greek Morphology (Gramcord),” for attribute 1 select “mood.” Press the green “go” arrow.
- Question: Does the significant use of the imperative begin at chapter 1 or chapter 4?
