Send to Kindle

Important: Send to Kindle feature was retired April 17, 2016

Please Note: Due to a combination of technical, legal, and permission issues outside our control, the send-to-Kindle feature will be retired.

The service will continue through April 17, 2016. After that point, resorces will no longer be sent to Kindle from Logos. Books that have been previously sent to Kindle will continue to work.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you. For further information, see this forum thread.

Step 1: Linking Logos with your Amazon Account

  1. To begin, go to Amazon.com and sign into your Amazon account.
  2. Click on "Your Account".
  3. Select "Manage Your Content and Devices".
  4. Click on the "Settings" tab.
  5. Scroll down to the "Approved Personal Document E-mail List".
  6. Click "Add a new approved email address" and enter "@logos.com" and click "Add Address".

Step 2: Add your Kindle to Logos

  1. Still on the "Manage Your Content and Devices" page, scroll to "Send-to-Kindle E-Mail Settings".
  2. Copy your Kindle device email address.
  3. Open Logos.
  4. In the Command Box, enter: Set Kindle Account to *your kindle email.
  5. A message should appear, letting you know it was successfully linked. If you do not see this message, check your kindle email and try again.

Step 3: Sending Books to Kindle

Now that your account and Logos are confired, the "Send-to-Kindle" option should appear on your Logos resources.

  1. Open the Library.
  2. Select a book you want to send to Kindle.
Note: to select a book, click its row, but do not click its title. Clicking the title will open the book.
  3. Click the Resource Information icon.
  4. Finally, click "Send to Kindle" to send it to your Kindle device or App

Note: Kindle has a 50mb file size limit, so some larger books will not allow this feature, but you can still access most of your Logos resources in the Faithlife family of mobile apps, or on Biblia.com.
