Creating Predefined Reading Plans in Logos 6

Creating the Reading Plan

Creating a Predefined Reading Plan is very simple. The passages and frequency will be predetermined, based on a specific theme.

  • Go to the Documents menu.
  • Select Reading Plan from the left-hand side of the menu (New Documents).
  • Click Choose a predefined Reading Plan.
  • Select a predefined plan from the list.
  • Press the Start button to generate the plan.
Edit a Reading Plan's Terms

After creating your reading plan, you may wish to edit the freequency of readings, translation being read, the start date, or who is reading ("by myself", or a Faithlife group).

  • Go to the Documents menu.
  • Select the existing plan, from the right-hand side of the menu.
  • Press the Edit button to modify the terms of the plan.
Modifying a Reading Plan Schedule

Once a Reading Plan has been generated, it is possible to modify its schedule.

  • Go to the Documents menu.
  • Select the existing plan, from the right-hand side of the menu.
  • Set the view to Calendar or List.
  • Right-click on a day or reading, to select a schedule option:

Catch up to here will mark all previous readings as complete.

Mark as read will mark the selectec reading as complete.

Adjust plan from here will move the last un-read reading to the date that was right-clicked, and recalculate the remaining reading based on that date.
