Using Reading Plans

7" Tablets & Phones
  • Open the Logos app.
  • Tap the Menu icon.
  • Tap the Search icon.
  • Swipe across the search panel to change to Daily Readings.
  • Tap the + icon and select "Reading Plan" to add a plan to the panel.
10" Tablets

Full size tablets can access these same controls from the "Home" screen (not available on smaller devices).

  • Open the Logos app.
  • Tap the Menu icon.
  • Press the "Home" button.
  • Swipe the "Go" menu in the bottom-left corner to find Daily Readings.
This is in the top-right corner in Landscape orientation.
  • Tap the + icon and select "Reading Plan" to add a plan to the panel.
You may notice only one option: "Read the Bible in a Year". This is the default plan for mobile devices, but you can create custom reading plans in the Logos desktop application. They will sync out to your online mobile devices automatically.

Begin Reading

To start a reading, select the day's reading from the Daily Readings list. It will open in your preferred Bible. You'll notice a gray line in the Bible that says "Start Reading". Read from this line to the next gray line, "Stop Reading", and press "Done".

Repeat this for each day's reading. You can read ahead if you like, but try not to skip any readings. If you skip a reading, the plan list may stop updating until you have completed each preceding reading.

Note: Reading Plans in the mobile apps should sync to your Logos desktop application. This sync process may take some time to complete, depending on internet speed and traffic. If your progress has not synchronized before your next reading, just check the box for your completed readings to skip ahead on that device.
