Overview

From the Preface: THE following beautiful lines of poetry were composed by the author, and recited by him on the occasion of the last day of school (May 31,1895) at the Children’s Home, Grand Junction, Mich. They give a touching description of his own experience from childhood innocence into sin, and from sin to full salvation. It is a poem of a high order, filled with heavenly inspiration. It shows the power of the enemy to deceive poor souls and lead them astray, and it also shows the wonderful power there is in the blood of Christ to redeem from all sin.
