Overview

The theme of the January 2009 issue of Tabletalk is “Resolved to Press on Toward the Goal.” It intends to give its readers some food for thought regarding Jonathan Edwards’ resolutions and the sanctifying use of making firm decisions to glorify God.

Contributors include R. C. Sproul, C. FitzSimons Allison, Sinclair B. Ferguson, Simon J. Kistemaker, Keith A. Mathison, Stephen J. Nichols, Burk Parsons, R. C. Sproul Jr., and Gene Edward Veith.

The 2009 Bible studies look at the apostle Paul’s life and thought in a study of the books the frame his career: Galatians, the very first letter he wrote, and 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus, the last epistles to come from him.
