Overview

This study of select Old Testament passages provides, through a series of Hebrew and Aramaic grammar lessons, application and interpretation that point to the reality of Christ as Messiah. Gary Staats explicates the original Hebrew and Aramaic word by word, breaking the passages down into five-part descriptions composed of the original Hebrew text, a vocabulary list, a grammar lesson, an English translation, and an application of the verse to Christian theology. His work includes introductions to the Hebrew and Aramaic languages complete with grammar guides, as well as a selected bibliography.

Logos Bible Software dramatically improves the value of this volume by enabling you to find what you’re looking for with unparalleled speed and precision. The Logos edition is fully searchable and easily accessible. Scripture passages link directly to your preferred English translation and to the original-language texts, and important theological concepts link to dictionaries, encyclopedias, and a wealth of resources in your digital library.
