In the last chapter he asks "Does it make any difference what view Christians hold about the other side?" and "Can there be alternative positions within the church?"

Dr. Larry Dixon, Ph.D., teaches systematic theology in the Seminary & School of Missions.. He came to Columbia in 1997 after serving as professor of biblical and theological studies at Providence College, Manitoba, Canada, for nine years. Before completing his bachelor’s degree, Dr. Dixon and his wife, Linda, went to Germany for short-term service with International Teams. He is the author of several books which focus on making theology accessible to everyone. He has maintained a ministry at conferences, camps, retreats and seminars, averaging 40 to 50 speaking engagements annually. Well known for his sense of humor, Dr. Dixon’s classes make the study of theology and history both lively and practical.
