Overview

Many students often face a wall of English grammar building blocks in their first year of Hebrew or Greek language studies. Phillip Miller developed this English grammar book to help students overcome their frustrations. Each lesson is divided into four sections. First, Miller presents an exegesis illustrating English, Hebrew, and Greek grammatical concepts. Next, he offers explanations and examples of English grammar patterns, rules, and concepts. Third, he provides an extension into explanations and examples of Hebrew and Greek grammar concepts. And finally, each section ends with a homework exercise in review. Miller’s English grammar book is designed to be prescriptive (how it should be written) and descriptive (how it was actually written) to assist students learning biblical languages.
